What is the 82-0 challenge?

Each round spins a real franchise era; you draft one player into each position of your starting five, then the season simulates. Win all 82 regular-season games to reach the untouched mark.

Has any NBA team ever gone 82-0?

No — the best real season is 73-9, and even that team lost the Finals. 82-0 exists only as the challenge: draft a five so strong the season can't touch it.

Can I play with a bench?

Yes — Exhibition offers an optional ten-seat Full Roster board, so you can chase the perfect season with a bench behind your starting five.

Can I chase the title too?

Yes — reach 54 regular-season wins to qualify for the playoff gauntlet. The full perfect run is 98-0: all 82 plus 16 playoff wins to the championship.

Do old eras stand a chance?

Every season is rated against its own era, so a 1996 guard and a 2024 guard compete on equal terms. Era depth is the point.
