Questions people actually ask
Play the whole ride — the offers, the farewell, what comes after. The full soccer career simulator runs every season against an honest cross-league elite bench, so you finally see how your career actually reads.
What is the soccer career simulator?
One footballer's whole career, played in a browser tab. You come through an academy, break into a first team, and then move through continuous age chapters — the first transfer, the armband, the move that ends it — with goals, assists and appearances filling a board as you go.
How long does a professional soccer career actually last?
We published one number for it and took it back: our two soccer records disagree with each other by close to a full season on what an average career is, because leagues keep separate books and a player can be a first-team regular in one country and unknown in the next. A number that changes with the source is a choice, not a fact — so soccer gets the honest answer instead of a figure. The board is drawn from the small fraction who reached the elite marks. See how every sport compares, and why soccer's number was withdrawn.
Goalkeeper, defender, midfielder or forward?
Four genuinely different careers. Goalkeepers post clean sheets, saves and appearances; defenders post clean sheets, tackles won and appearances; midfielders and forwards post goals, assists and appearances. Because the football path spans eight leagues, the board uses honest cross-league position benches — including 20 clean sheets, 125 saves, 95 tackles won, 18 assists and 30 goals — rather than pretending every stop shares one record book.
How does the first transfer work?
It arrives at a checkpoint, and it is a real decision: the money, the bigger club, or loyalty to the side that brought you through. Where you go in soccer changes the standard you are held to and how often silverware is realistically in reach. There is no wrong answer, only different careers.
What do Academy, First team and Touchline mean?
They are the football chapters. Academy covers ages 16–17 and First team is the debut at 18. The later windows run 19–21, 22–24, 25–27, 28–30 and 31–34. Farewell follows at 35, and Touchline is the post-playing decision.
Can I win the league and the Ballon d'Or equivalent?
Titles, Player of the Year and a place in the Best XI are all live, and all of them have to be earned by the numbers your seasons actually post. A career that wins everything is rare enough to be worth sharing when it happens.
Is this a football career simulator or a soccer one?
The same game, and it is association football either way — academy, first team, transfers, the top flight. If you searched for a football career mode and landed here, this is what you were looking for.
Can I play online, or is there a download?
Career game, career sim, career simulator — three names for this, and it runs online in the tab you are already in. Nothing to download, no console, no account. One academy, eight leagues, and every decision from the first professional contract to the day you stop.
What is the elite-marks row for?
It holds the shared cross-league season marks for your position and counts the years where you genuinely clear one. It is deliberately labelled as an elite benchmark, not a Premier League or universal world record.
What happens after I retire?
You take one more season or you stop, and then the touchline decision closes the card. A leadership receipt can improve the final read, but it does not manufacture management seasons, titles or playing pay.
Can a friend take on my career?
Send it. They get their own academy, their own path and their own decisions, with your finished card sitting there as the target.
Is it free, and do I need to install anything?
Free, browser-only, no account, nothing to download. Your career is encoded in the page URL, so it survives a reload and can be handed to somebody else exactly as you played it.
Can I play the NBA one from here?
From here, yes — the NBA career simulator is the hardwood sibling: no transfer market, but draft night, contract years and a scoring record board carry the weight the window carries here.
Is there an 8-0 game with a full team?
There is — the 8-0 game fields an all-time national-team XI and asks for eight wins from eight matches, nothing dropped. This career hands you one boot and a lifetime of transfer windows instead.
