The rounds

Each round opens one program in one window. That churn is the point: a decade genuinely changes who is available, and the same school can be unrecognisable two spins apart.

The season

34 games, then a 6-game playoff gauntlet at 26 wins — 40–0 for the sweep. Thirty-four games and then a six-game tournament — forty results. The tournament is single elimination against whoever is left, which is precisely how real unbeaten seasons have ended.

The record runs from 1942 across more programs than any professional league here, with 273 recognised figures. What decides it
